The word is out about Sunday Breakfast Mornings at JD Classics; with their popularity growing in 2012, more than 1,000 attended our October morning with John Surtees. And no wonder - these events offer a behind-the-scenes look at our workshops and six showrooms, which are rarely open to the general public and filled with some of the world's most prestigious classic and race cars. Staff are on hand to answer questions, and we host Q&A sessions with guest speakers, such as Andy Wallace, Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries, Win Percy, Norman Dewis and Sir Stirling Moss.
Our 2013 Breakfast Morning dates are:
- Sunday, 1st September - Guest speaker will be TWR Works Driver Win Percy and Touring Car legend Steve Soper
- Sunday, 27th October - Our final breakfast morning of 2013, JD Classics will be welcoming the only man to have won World Championships on both two and four wheels, John Surtees OBE and World Superbike Champion James Toseland.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH AN OPEN EVENT, VISITORS TO OUR OCTOBER BREAKFAST MORNING ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE A SUGGESTED CHARITABLE DONATION OF £5 PER PERSON UPON ENTRY. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE HENRY SURTEES FOUNDATION AND ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE.
Unless a Breakfast Morning is billed as invitation only, individuals do not need to book - just come along from 8.30am to 11.30am and enjoy the morning, explore JD Classics and indulge in a bacon sandwich and refreshments on site.
