For Jaguar enthusiasts, the E-Type is the most glamorous car ever. And we’re excited to announce that the only surviving prototype from 1961 – 9600 HP –  will be available for a special viewing during this August’s Breakfast at JD’s.

It was 1961. And at the Geneva Motor Show that year, a motoring legend was introduced to the world and legions of car lovers for decades to come would never be the same again.

And you can see that self-same car when you join us at this month’s Breakfast at JD’s.

Perhaps the most photographed vehicle in the history of the motor car, 9600 HP became the subject of its owner’s next book – ‘The Most Famous Car in the World’ – recording this particular coupé’s amazing life story and restoration.

Author Philip Porter has penned several motoring titles – many of them about Jaguars. So do take this unique opportunity to meet him alongside his pride and joy, the world’s oldest E-Type.
