New two-floor showroom space at JD Classics
Customers visiting our complex here in Essex always enjoy the wide array of vehicles on view in our well-appointed showroom. And with the addition of another stylish, all-new, purpose-built sales area, we’ve doubled the number of vehicles available for viewings.
The new showroom is now open and covers 5,000 sq ft, split over two floors. A special, custom-built hydraulic platform lifts and lowers vehicles between the two floors.
This allows us to showcase an even greater range of extremely high quality classic vehicles for sale, and customers are welcome to view them six days a week. Simply call our office to book an appointment.
JD Classics’ new, custom-built car storage facility
Responding to a remarkable shortage of quality storage for classic vehicles across East Anglia, JD Classics will soon open an all-new, purpose-built storage facility. The new area is scheduled to open in June, is based here at our Essex complex and covers 20,000 sq ft, with space for nearly 150 cars.
“We’ve seen some real horror shows,” explained JD Classics’ owner and Managing Director Derek Hood. “Clients bring their cars to us in terrible condition after their pride and joy has suffered major neglect. And invariably, the damage is a direct result of being kept in ill-equipped storage areas – storage owners have had the misfortune of paying good money for.
“It was clear something had to be done, with such highly prized motoring history under real threat. And we knew that if we could apply our usual high production values and period vehicle expertise, we could save our customers from a lot of distress.”
Subsequently, our new classic car storage facility is dust-free, with properly sealed epoxy flooring (water and conventional solvents have no effect on sealed epoxy surfaces). And epoxy flooring is seamless; creating a continuous, impenetrable membrane that seals whatever’s above from whatever’s below.
JD Classics’ new classic car storage facility also comes complete with the latest, carefully calibrated dehumidification equipment and 24-hour, manned, hi-tech alarm system.
Trickle chargers will also be attached to every vehicle as a standard feature of our service. Additional services include routine inspections as well as running the vehicle. So our customers know that whenever they need their vehicle, it’ll start first time.
