As rare as it gets! A lovely ‘1933 MG Milano 1500’. One of just three built by the legendary Bruce Leers and this is Car #1.
The body was rebuilt in 1959 on the chassis of a 1933 MG J Type, which been missing from the MG Register since departing for Australia in 1934!
The car is small and light with ample power provided by the 1500cc MG XPAG engine coupled to a close ratio MG TC gearbox, TC differential housing with modified A series differential centre. The Milano body was constructed by JWF Glass-Fibre Industries in Australia. The car is small and light with ample power provided by the 1500cc. The car received a quick prep prior to its first outing at the GRRC track day at Goodwood and the Car made it's UK Race Debut at HRDC Allstars at Mallory Park in 2018.
Painted in its original ‘Two Pack Orange’. The motor is a MG TF 1500 block with all steel internals and the head has been set up to run 98 pump fuel. Comes with Cams Historic Log Book and COD. The car is also eligible for FIA HTP papers.
