It was then sold through British Fine Cars of Santa Ana, California, to its first owner, a Mr Ernest Watson. By 1960 it had moved to a Mr L T Garcia, also of California, who would keep the car until 2002 when it was sold to its final private owner.

Dry stored since the 1970's and remaining in very solid condition, this Roadster makes an excellent restoration project. With it's number's matching the Factory Data Sheet, it comes with a number of unusual modifications which are suggestive of an interesting past, plus a rare period hard top, the correct hood, spats, Heritage Certificate and historic title documents.

XK120 Roadsters remain incredibly popular due to their eligibility for a wide range of historic events (including the Mille Miglia) and their overall versatility. Consequently, project cars of this quality are becoming very hard to find. This example is provides a wonderful opportunity to acquire one of these iconic sports cars and is offered ‘as is’ or could be restored to a customer’s individual specifications by Woodham Mortimer.
